Konrad Höfinger

Konrad Höfinger (born September 10, 1886 in Langenlois ; † September 20, 1938 ) was an Austrian politician ( NSDAP ) and business owner. From 1932 to 1933 Höfinger was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Höfinger studied at the University of Vienna and obtained the academic degree Dr. med. and Dr. phil. During his studies in 1906 he became a member of the Vienna academic fraternity Teutonia . He bought a farm in Gobelsburg and did his military service in World War I, where he was taken prisoner by the Russians. Höfinger was active as a peasant leader in Langenlois and from 1933 worked as a winegrower. Höfinger represented the National Socialist German Workers' Party between May 21, 1932 and June 23, 1933 in the Lower Austrian state parliament and lost his seat in the state parliament in the wake of the NSDAP's ban. As a result, Höfinger was arrested several times between 1933 and 1936.
