Konrad Hartelt

Konrad Hartelt (born December 17, 1940 in Treschen , Wroclaw district ) is a German Roman Catholic canon lawyer .

Life

Konrad Hartelt studied philosophy and theology. On June 27, 1965, he was ordained a priest in the Neuzelle monastery . He was chaplain in Finsterwalde (1965–1968) and in Görlitz (1968–1969). From 1969 to 1972 he was Episcopal Secretary, then Ordinariatsassessor and Vice-Official.

From 1979 to 1982 he was entrusted with the duties of the chair for canon law (lecturer) at the Philosophical-Theological Studies in Erfurt. From 1982 to 1989 he administered the chair for canon law at the Philosophical-Theological Studies in Erfurt. From 1989 to 2005 he was full professor for canon law at the Theological Faculty Erfurt / Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Erfurt . He headed the theological faculty of Erfurt from 1992 to 1993 as rector , and from 1993 to 1994 as prorector.

Since 1985 he has been a pastor in the Erfurt-Bischleben branch community .
