Conrad II (Luxembourg)
Conrad II (* 1106 ; † 1136 ) was Count of Luxembourg from 1129 to 1136 . He was the only son of Wilhelm von Luxemburg and Mathilde von Northeim.
He was married to Irmingard von Zutphen, daughter of Count Otto II von Zutphen . Their marriage was childless. This ended the line of the first house in Luxembourg when Conrad II died at the age of 30. Since the children of Konrad I , Heinrich III. had died childless and also Konrad II as the only son of Wilhelm of Luxembourg , Luxembourg passed to Henry IV . This was the son of Konrad's aunt Ermesinde von Namur , a daughter of Konrad I , who was married to Gottfried von Namur (1068; † 1139) in her second marriage.
