Conrad III. (Rietberg)

Count Konrad III. von Rietberg († May 1, 1365 ) was Count of Rietberg from 1347 to 1365 .

Conrad III. was born as the son of Otto I and his wife Adelheidis von Hallermund. After the death of his father, he took control of the county. He died on May 1, 1365 and was buried in the Marienfeld monastery.

On the gravestone they shared with his wife, it said:

Conrad III. married before 1352 Ermeswint von Reifferscheid . They had three children together:

  • Otto II († July 18, 1389), Count 1365–1389
  • Konrad († 1426/27), canon of Paderborn, is named dean of Cologne Cathedral on September 3, 1426
