Konrad Landgraf

Konrad Landgraf (born November 18, 1921 in Linz , † July 21, 2000 in Kirchschlag near Linz ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and cafetier. Landgraf was a member of the Austrian National Council and a member of the Federal Council .

Landgraf attended a federal high school after elementary school and passed the Matura. He also learned the job of a waiter and worked as a bartender. He then worked as managing director and took over the family business in 1962. In 1969 he was appointed to the Council of Commerce .

Landgraf represented the ÖVP from November 4, 1975 to June 4, 1979 in the National Council, was then a member of the Federal Council from October 25, 1979 to October 16, 1980, and then switched again between October 17, 1980 and December 16, 1986 in the National Council. In addition, he was regional chairman of the Austrian Economic Association in Upper Austria and, within the ÖVP, a member of the Linz city party leadership and the Upper Austria regional party leadership. Landgraf was also active as a member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Chamber of Commerce and as President of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Federal College for Tourism Professions (Bad Ischl). He was also a member of the Presidium of the Upper Austrian Regional Foreign Traffic Association and a member of the Board of Directors of the Upper Austrian Regional Health Insurance Fund for workers and employees.
