Konrad Schneller

Konrad Schneller (born May 1, 1937 in Sögel ; † July 15, 2007 in Osnabrück ) was a German politician (CDU). From 1982 to 1990 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Faster attended school in Meppen and Osnabrück and graduated from high school in 1957. In the same year he joined the CDU and began studying law and economics at the universities of Münster and Würzburg . He was active in the Ring of Christian Democratic Students and in the Young Union. In 1962 he completed his legal traineeship and in 1966 the assessor exam. After the exams he worked as a lawyer. Schneller received his doctorate from the University of Würzburg in 1970 after having worked as a judge in Osnabrück since 1969. He worked there until 1980, after which he worked at the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice until his election to the state parliament two years later. Schneller was district chairman of the CDU Osnabrück-Stadt and a member of the supervisory board of Osnabrücker Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH. For a while he was a member of the Osnabrück City Council. From June 21, 1982 to June 20, 1990, he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament for the tenth and eleventh electoral terms .
