Konstantin Holobradý
Konstantin Holobradý (born February 25, 1954 in Nitra , † August 1978 ) was a Slovak badminton player .
Career
Konstantin Holobradý was the first national champion in Czechoslovakia in 1974. Another title win followed in 1977. With the national team he won the 1973 Plume d'Or and the 1973 Helvetia Cup . In 1977 he was successful at Austrian International . At the Czechoslovakian International 1976 he beat the former European champion Wolfgang Bochow . In August 1978 he died of an allergic shock on the way to Paris. The Memoriál Holobradého has been held in Prague in his honor since 1979 .
