Konstantin Sergejewitsch Lopuschanski (born June 12, 1947 in Dnepropetrovsk , Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Soviet and Russian director and screenwriter . Lopuschanski is best known for his 1986 post-apocalyptic film Letters from the Dead .

Life

Lopuschanski made in 1970 graduated from the State Conservatory Kazan as a violinist and completed in 1973, a postgraduate at the Leningrad Conservatory , which he called PhD graduated. He taught at the Kazan and Leningrad Conservatoires for several years before attending the advanced courses for screenwriters and film directors. After completing the courses in 1979, he was Andrei Tarkovsky's assistant in the direction of the film Stalker . Since 1980 he has been working for the Lenfilm film production company as a production manager.
