Konstantin Freiherr von Wangenheim (born August 1, 1824 in Gotha ; † January 26, 1892 in Brüheim , Thuringia ) was a German administrative officer in the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha .

Life

Wangenheim began to study law at the University of Jena . In 1845 he became active in the Corps Franconia Jena . He moved to the University of Leipzig and on June 29, 1847 was accepted as an honorary member of the old kind in the Corps Lusatia Leipzig . As a corps boy he was active in the summer semester of 1847. After graduating, he entered the service of the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Subsequently he was district administrator in the duchy.

Wangenheim was married to Sophie Schmidt-Löwe ​​von Löwenfels (1836–1920), with whom he had two sons and a daughter, since 1859 .
