Constitutional pillar
Constitution pillars are monuments in the form of a pillar that were erected on the occasion of the establishment of a constitution (constitution, in older spelling also constitution) of a state.
- in honor of the Baden Constitution of 1818
- in Karlsruhe , completed in 1827, based on plans by Friedrich Weinbrenner in the form of an obelisk made of red sandstone on the Rondellplatz. Alternative name Grand Duke Karl Monument.
- in Lahr on the Schutterlindenberg, inaugurated on August 22, 1843 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the enactment of the Baden constitution.
- in honor of the Bavarian Constitution of 1818
- Constitutional column in Gaibach , inaugurated on August 22, 1828, designed by Leo von Klenze
- in honor of the Saxon constitution of 1831
- in Zittau , inaugurated on September 3, 1831
- in the Lieblingstal near Dürrröhrsdorf-Dittersbach 1831
- in honor of the Basic Law of 1949
- in Waghäusel , inaugurated in 1989 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the adoption of the Basic Law
