Construction (Nebentitel magazine for product development and engineering materials ) is from the Association of German Engineers published journal . Main topics are machine elements , connection technology , drive technology , C-technologies ( CAD , CIM etc.), fluid technology , automation and engineering materials. It is the official body of the VDI Society for Product and Process Design (VDI-GPP) and the VDI Society of Materials Engineering (VDI-GME). According to the magazine, the target group includes "design managers, designers, test and development engineers in mechanical engineering, apparatus and vehicle construction".
From construction year appear eleven editions; this includes three double and two special editions. The magazine is published by VDI Fachmedien GmbH & Co. KG. In 2000 the journal Ingenieur-Werkstoffe was incorporated into it .
