Drinking wine

When drinking wine flawless simple wines without special qualities are called. As a rule, they are not storable young wines and are intended to be consumed quickly (within one year).

Other names are everyday wine , consumption of wine , house wine , table wine , tap wine or Zechwein . Drinking wine or its synonyms are not a legal term for wine .

Bottled it often goes z. B. via supermarkets to the end consumer. In restaurants or taverns , the draft wine is also bottled as open wine from larger containers such as barrels ( barrel wine ) or glass balloons.

The word "drinking wine" (also drinking wine) has been attested since the beginning of the 14th century with the meaning "wine for domestic use", "house wine".
