The Kontrashibuna Lake is a lake in southwest Alaska .
The 20.6 km² and 22.3 km long lake is located in Lake Clark National Park , 8 km east of the village of Port Alsworth on the east bank of Lake Clark . The Tanalian River drains the 140 m high lake at its western end to Lake Clark. Several glacier-fed streams that arise in the Chigmit Mountains flow into the lake, which is a maximum of 1.5 km wide .

Kontrashibuna Lake can be reached either on foot from Port Alsworth or directly by seaplane. The area is frequented by brown and black bears .
ecology
Investigations on American char in Kontrashibuna Lake as well as in the nearby Lakes Clark and Telaquana Lake revealed increased mercury levels.
