Concert rondo for piano and orchestra in A major

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Rondo for piano and orchestra in A major, KV 386 is a composition by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for piano and orchestra .

The circumstances of the creation of the rondo are controversial. It is certain that Mozart composed this graceful play piece in Vienna in 1782. Many musicologists tend to assume that this is not a standalone composition, but a final movement for the piano concerto in A major, KV 414 .

The question of whether it is a post-composed movement or the initially valid final movement has not been clarified. The fixed role of the winds in this concert is striking. The orchestral part is only incomplete; only fragments are left here.
