Kopanice is a district of the Slovak city ​​of Prievidza .

geography

Due to its location in the north of the city, Kopanice is therefore also simply referred to as "Nord" (sever). This part of the city is located on a hill from which one has a good view over the city and overlooks Bojnice Castle . Kopanice consists of approx. 35 prefabricated residential complexes (four floors) and two areas of single-family houses, i.e. a purely residential area in which there are also two primary schools.
