    The head leg ( lat. Capitate ) is the largest of the eight wrist bones , belonging to the distal ( distal ) series of short bones to.

    Form ( proximal ), there is an articulated connection with the navicular ( scaphoid ) and the lunate ( lunate a), side ( lateral ) to the small trapezoid ( trapezoid ), towards the middle ( medial ) with the hook leg ( hamate ) and away from the body ( distal ) mainly with the third, partly also with the second and fourth metacarpal bones ( os metacarpale secundum , tertium and quartum ).
