Korbinian Witting (born August 25, 1980 in Bad Tölz ) is a German journalist and former ice hockey player who played, among other things, for EC Bad Tölz in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga .

Career

Korbinian Witting began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of EC Bad Tölz , for whose professional team he played 28 games in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga in the 1999/2000 season . He then moved to the Oberliga EC Timmendorfer beach , he for after its voluntary withdrawal from the league in the following period in the fourth division Regionalliga played. He also played 34 games for the Dresdner Eislöwen in the major league in the 2003/04 season and then returned to EC Timmendorfer Strand, which was re-established in 2006 as EHC Timmendorfer Strand 06. For the club he played a total of 361 competitive games and scored 347 goals. In March 2011, he ended his career as an ice hockey player with a goal in the first leg in the Baltic Cup.

Witting is married and has one son. He completed an editorial traineeship at Lübecker Nachrichten and works in media management.
