Korman Jakubow Ismailow (also Korman Yakubov Ismailov , Bulgar. Корман Якубов Исмаилов; born September 13, 1972 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian politician and member of the Bulgarian Parliament . He was a member of the central council of the DPS party and chairman of the youth organization until the end of April 2011 when he was expelled from the party for criticizing the party leadership.

Life

Korman Ismailow was born in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, where he graduated from secondary school before studying economics at the Turkish University of Konya . After completing his studies, Izmailov returned to Bulgaria and became a member of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS for short). In 2006 he was elected chairman of the DPS Jewish organization, MDPS, by an overwhelming majority. In the European elections in Bulgaria in 2009 Ismailov ran as his party's candidate. He was eighth on the list, but his party could only win three places for the European Parliament in the election.

In the parliamentary elections in Bulgaria in 2009 , Ismailov was elected member of the Bulgarian Parliament with the list of DPS. Korman Izmailov was a member of the Budget and Finance Committee, the Committee on European Affairs and Control of European Financial Instruments and the permanent delegation of the Bulgarian Parliament to NATO from July 2009 to May 2011. Islailow has also been a member of several bilateral parliamentary groups since July 2009 .

In January 2011, the member of the Central Council of the DPS and the party's former number two, Kasim Dal , raised serious allegations against the political style of the party leader Ahmed Dogan and the party's connections to the structures of the former Communist State Security ( KDS ) and called for the resignation of the party Party leadership. The questions posed by the Dal were supported by the party's structures in Turkey and by other members of the Central Council, including Korman Ismailov, at the party conference on February 20, 2011. However, they were unable to prevent Dal from being kicked out of the party, as the majority of the party's structures backed their leaders.

At the end of April, Ismailov was expelled from the DPS faction in parliament and shortly afterwards from the party. In early June, other members of the Central Council and supporters of Dal were expelled from the party.
