Kornelia "Konny" Gellenbeck (born June 27, 1955 in Westphalia ) is a German publicist . She is one of the board members of the taz Panter Foundation and head of the taz Geno team .

Career

Kornelia Gellenbeck worked for a bank in the early 1980s. In 1986 the qualified high school teacher came to taz as a temporary worker . At first she worked in the subscription department and later, for years, she looked after the so-called "prison subscriptions". From 1996 she built up the taz Geno team. From the end of November 2000 Konny Gellenbeck headed the marketing department of taz for a short time.

She is currently the head of the taz Geno team and, alongside Karl-Heinz Ruch, has been a board member of the taz Panter Foundation, which annually awards the taz Panter Prize and wants to make experiences and values ​​from thirty years of taz accessible to the left-wing critical public.

In the course of 2020, Gellenbeck will hand over the management of the taz Geno team to Rebecca Finke and Stefanie Baumeister.
