Koronos (son of Apollo)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Koronos ( Greek  Κόρωνος ), the son of Apollon and Chrysorrhoe, is in Greek mythology the grandson of Orthopolis , king of Sicyon . His sons Korax and Lamedon both ruled over the city, which is why some authors also refer to Koronos as the king of Sicyon. Eusebius of Caesarea , however, lists after Orthopolis, the Marathonios, followed by Marathios and finally the Korax in the Sicyonian king list .
