Feldt Corps

The Corps Feldt was a major unit of the Army of the German Wehrmacht in World War II . The corps was named after Lieutenant General Kurt Feldt, commanding the corps . The task of the corps was to secure the western border of the empire in the area of ​​the Lower Rhine . In mid-September 1944 the corps was involved in the battle for the Groesbeek Heights near Nijmegen in the Netherlands .
