Korsør Kommune was a Danish municipality in what was then Vestsjællands Amt in the southwest of the island of Zealand until December 2006 . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Slagelse Municipality together with the “old” Slagelse Municipality , Hashøj Municipality and Skælskør Municipality .
