Skælskør Kommune was until December 2006 a Danish municipality in what was then Vestsjællands Amt in the southwest of the island of Zealand . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Slagelse Kommune together with the “old” Slagelse Kommune , Hashøj Kommune and Korsør Kommune .
