Until December 2006, Svinninge Kommune was a Danish municipality in what was then Vestsjællands Amt in the north-west of the main Danish island of Zealand . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Holbæk municipality together with the former municipalities of Holbæk , Jernløse , Tornved and Tølløse .
