The island of Kozloduj ( Bulgarian Остров Козлодуй ; transcription: Ostrov Kozloduj) is an island on the Danube in northern Bulgaria on the border with Romania .

The island is located immediately north of the small town of Kozloduy and the Kozloduy nuclear power plant on Danube kilometer 695.8. Kozloduy is 7.5 km long and between 0.5 and 1.6 km wide. The island has an area of ​​6.1 km² and is three to four meters above the water level of the Danube. It is the second largest Bulgarian Danube island after Belene .

Kozloduy lies on the right side of the Danube, whose fairway runs north. The Bulgarian river bank is 200 meters away and can only be reached by boat. In the immediate vicinity is the island of Kopaniza (Bulgarian Остров Копаница).
