Rumjana Gotschewa

Rumjana Christowa Bojadschiewa-Gotschewa ( Bulgarian Румяна Христова Бояджиева-Гочева , spelling for the World Chess Federation FIDE Rumiana B. Gocheva ; born July 21, 1957 in Assenowgrad ) is a Bulgarian chess player .

She won the Bulgarian women's individual championship six times: in 1980, 1987, 1989 and 1991 as the sole winner, in 1982 and 1984 shared with Margarita Wojska . In summer 2007 she won the women's ranking at the International Carinthian Chess Festival in Velden am Wörther See .

With the Bulgarian women's national team, she took part in five chess Olympiads between 1980 and 1990 with a positive overall result of 29.5 points from 50 games, with the team's second place in 1984 in Thessaloniki being their greatest success.

In the 1st Bulgarian women's league she plays on the second board of CSKA Sofia , where she plays company sports for Bulmek 93 . She has been participating in the Greek team championship for OF Heraklion since 2012 .

She has held the title of International Women's Champion (WIM) since 1981 . Gotschewa's Elo rating is 2121 (as of February 2016), her highest rating was 2290 in July 1988.
