Costume rental
A costume rental company is a company that rents out costumes and associated props for a fee.
The costume rental shop offers historical costumes , but also contemporary ones like a firefighter and fictional ones like Superman . As a rule, a tailor also works in the company who makes changes and repairs . However, this is no longer the case in every company today.
The oldest documented costume rental companies include Angels in London (the rental began in 1840), the first costume rental company Lambert Hofer, founded in Vienna in 1862, and Costume Kaiser (founded in Basel in 1882 ).
