Kostas Birulis

Kostas Birulis (born February 15, 1925 in Panevėžys , † January 27, 2004 in Vilnius ) was a Lithuanian radio engineer and politician , minister .

Life

In 1951 he completed his diploma studies at the Technical University in Kaunas and in 1961 distance studies at the Institute for Foreign Languages ​​in Moscow . From 1950 to 1951 he was head radio technician in Sitkūnai , from 1951 to 1953 in Klaipėda , from 1959 to 1963 sub-department head in the Ministry of Communications, then an expert. From 1990 to 1992 he was Minister of Communications of Lithuania . From 1995 to 1998 he was a consultant to EUTELSAT.
