The Kotick Point is a headland on the west coast of the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It marks the southern limit of the entrance from the Prinz Gustav Canal into Holluschickie Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on September 4, 1957 based on the naming of Holluschickie Bay. Kotick is the name of the main character in Rudyard Kipling's story The White Seal from his 1894 work The Jungle Book .
