The Sandezer Basin ( Kotlina Sądecka in Polish ) in Poland is a large basin in Lesser Poland in the middle of the West Beskids . It is located at an altitude of 280 to 300 m above sea level. NN and covers an area of ​​approx. 300 km².

The Sandezer Basin is part of the Beskids and extends at the confluence of the Dunajec and Poprad as well as the Kamienica between the Sandezer Beskids ( Radziejowa ridge and Jaworzyna ridge ) in the south, the island Beskids in the northwest, the Lower Beskids in the east and the Pogórze Rożnowskie in the North.

The Sandez basin is densely populated. The only bigger cities are Nowy Sącz and Stary Sącz . The fertile region is otherwise characterized by agriculture. She is known for her fruit growing.
