The West Beskids (Polish Beskidy Zachodnie ) are a mountain range of the Outer Western Carpathians in Poland ( Silesian Voivodeship and Lesser Poland Voivodeship ). Smaller parts are also in Slovakia and the Czech Republic . Its highest peak is the Babia Góra with 1725 m in the Saybuscher Beskids .
Demarcation
The West Beskids join in the west and the East Beskids ( Forest Carpathians ) in the east . The Middle Beskids represent a small link between the two larger mountain ranges. They belong to the Outer Western Carpathians .
