The Pilsko is a 1557 m high mountain and thus the second highest mountain of the Beskid Żywiecki ( Saybuscher Beskydy ) and in Slovakia Oravské Beskydy ( Arwa Beskydy ). It lies on the border between Poland and Slovakia .

Pilsko is used as a hiking area in summer and as a ski area in winter.

The main European watershed between the Black Sea ( Danube ) and the Baltic Sea ( Vistula ) runs over the mountain . Several hiking trails lead up the mountain.
