The herb dialect is a Silesian dialect of East Central German, which was spoken in Lower Silesia .

In the districts of Breslau , Neumarkt , Liegnitz , Lüben , Goldberg-Haynau , between Upper Lusatian , Neiderland , Mountain Silesian and Brieg-Grottkau dialect, the area of ​​the herb dialect, which gets its name from the herb farmers around Breslau , is located. In its southern part, the "a" and "la" of the mountain dialect still apply: Beissa, Tippla; but the greater part has "en", "el" here. One already speaks here: Schnēte, Schtōbe.
