The Esbjerg Power Station is a coal-fired power plant in the port of Esbjerg . It was put into operation in 1992 and has an electrical output of 378 megawatts . The chimney of the Esbjerg power plant is the tallest chimney in Denmark at 250.24 meters . The Esbjerg power station has had a denitrification system since 2004 .
