The Vargfors power plant is a run-of-river power plant in the Swedish province of Västerbottens län , Sweden , which dams the Skellefte älv . The place Norsjö is about 15 km southwest of the power plant.

The power plant went into operation in 1961. It is owned by Vattenfall and operated by Vattenfall.

Barrier structure

The barrier structure consists of a concrete arch dam and two dams.
