Kragerøvassdraget

The Kragerøvassdraget (also Tokevassdraget or Drangedalsvassdraget ) is a river system in Fylke Vestfold og Telemark in Norway . It includes Lake Tokke , located in Drangedal municipality , with its tributaries and its outflow via the Kammerfosselva to the Kilsfjord and the Skagerrak . The catchment area of ​​the river system is about 1,242 km².

The outflow of the Tokke lies in the south at Merkebekk and is formed by the Kammerfosselva . The runoff changes its name several times along its route to the sea:

  • Lundereidelva from Merkebekk via Dalsfoss to Lake Farsjø (38 moh.).
  • Fossane and Tisjø from Farsjø to Lake Tvähreidvannet (27 moh.).
  • Vadfosselva from Tvanteid to the Vafoss.
  • Kammerfosselva from Vafoss via Kammerfoss to the Kilsfjord in the municipality of Kragerø .

There are seven hydropower plants in the river system with a total annual output of 123 GWh ; two of them are on Suvdøla in the Drangedal, five along the outflow of the Tokke. The plants listed from north to south are:
