The Krahnenufer is a street in Trier in the Mitte district and is part of the banks of the Moselle . It is the continuation of the Johanniterufers and at the intersection with the Böhmerstraße it changes directly into the Katharinenufer .

Like Krahnenstrasse, the bank takes its name from the Old Krahnen on the Johanniterufer. Furthermore, no street name has seen so many different names as this one: until 1846 the street that ran along the city wall was called Langstrasse . From 1847 it was first called Moselquai and then Krahnenquai . It has had its current name since 1873.

Parts of the former Benedictine monastery of St. Irminen and the Alte Moselkran are located on the banks of the Kranhen. The old customs crane is also located at the interface between Johanniterufer and Krahnenufer .
