Kraiberg is a former district of Gaimersheim in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt . The Evangelical Lutheran Peace Church of the Gaimersheim parish is located in this part of the community.

location

The place is in the southeast of Gaimersheim north of the Ingolstadt – Treuchtlingen railway line .

history

Kraiberg is only found in census records for the years 1950 and 1961. The place was described in 1950 as a settlement with 14 residential buildings and 210 inhabitants, which is not yet an officially named district. Eleven years later, 82 residential buildings with 448 inhabitants were found in the Kraiberg district. Today Kraiberg is assigned to the Gaimersheim part of the community.

Soil monuments

In Kraiberg there are two listed ground monuments, a former Roman road and the remains of Fort Tann of the Ingolstadt fortress .
