Krajnc is a Slovenian family name. Alternative spellings in Austria are Krainz , Kreinz or Greinz . In Italy , Crainz is sometimes written. Krajnc, the fourth most common family name in Slovenia, is a short form of Kranjec and therefore means " person from Carniola ".
