Rheindahlen Hospital
The hospital Rheindahlen is in the district Rheindahlen in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ), Südwall 27-29. It is located south of the historic city center of Rheindahlen.
history
The St. Katharinen Hospital was built in 1910 by the city of Rheindahlen and taken over in 1967 by the Cellitinnen (mother house in Cologne). It was entered under No. S 007 on December 15, 1987 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
The angular complex made of dark brick is divided into a central longitudinal building and two protruding side wings of unequal size and design. The building is a typical hospital building for the time it was built and is worth protecting for reasons of local history and architecture.
