The Krawców Wierch Hut ( pl. Bacówka PTTK na Krawcowym Wierchu ) is located at an altitude of 1038 meters in Poland in the Saybuscher Beskids on the Hala Krawcula alpine pasture in the summit area of the Krawców Wierch . The area belongs to the Ujsoły commune . The hut is named after the mountain.
history
The hut was opened in 1976 by the Klubu Bacówkarza Mountain Association . The hut is now owned by the PTTK . In the 2000s the hut was expanded and renewed. Until 2007 there was a Polish (Czech) Slovak border crossing not far from the hut. Poland and Slovakia have been part of the Schengen area since 2007 and the border can be crossed at any point. The hut is not far from the main Beskydy hiking trail . From here the view extends over the southern West Beskids to the Little Fatra in Slovakia.
