Ujsoły is a village in the powiat Żywiecki of the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland .

Ujsoły

Ujsoły is located in the Saybuscher Beskids , a mountain range in the Outer Western Carpathians , south of the city of Żywiec , in the southern part of the district, on the border with Slovakia . The village is located in the Ujsoła Valley, also known as Biała Soła , between the mountain ranges of Wilczy Groń in the north, Kotelnica in the east and Urówka in the west. Districts: Danielka, Głąbokie, Hutyrów, Stawiska, Świniarka, Tanistry.

history

Around 1600 settlements in what is now Ujsoły were mentioned in writing. In 1940 several Polish families were expelled as part of the Saybusch campaign .

A historical trade route to Vienna runs through the municipality .

Ujsoły is the seat of the municipal council of the municipality of the same name. Ujsoły Municipal Council has 15 members.
