history
The Kreissparkasse Reutlingen was founded in 1853 as the Oberamtssparkasse. It is a non-profit and legally competent institution under public law. It is run by the Reutlingen district .
Kreissparkasse Reutlingen has been a member of the Württemberg savings bank association since 1888 and of the Württemberg giro association since 1918. Both associations merged in 1920 to form the Württemberg Savings Banks and Giro Association.
In 1928 the branches in Eningen and Pfullingen were established, ten years later the Oberamtssparkasse Urach was taken over. Münsingen was connected to the Kreissparkasse Reutlingen in 1973 as part of the district reform. Further offices are located in Dettingen / Erms, Lichtenstein, Metzingen, Pliezhausen, Trochtelfingen and Zwiefalten.
The Kreissparkasse has been active in the real estate brokerage business since 1976 and is now also the market leader in the Reutlingen district . By founding the venture capital company in 1998, Kreissparkasse Reutlingen made a contribution to improving the economic structure of the Reutlingen district and creating new jobs and training positions.
In 2003 the Kreissparkasse Reutlingen celebrated its 150th anniversary with numerous activities in the entire business area.

Youth Foundation
