The war memorial in Vert-le-Grand , a French commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was erected in 1922. The war memorial on Place de la Mairie , in front of the Saint-Germain church, commemorates the soldiers from Vert-le-Grand who were killed in the First and Second World Wars .

The bronze sculpture of the goddess of victory with a palm frond in the right hand and a flag in the left hand stands on a rectangular stone base .
