The Ahlsdorf war memorial is a listed war memorial in Ahlsdorf in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the Ahlsdorf cemetery on Friedhofstrasse on the western outskirts of Ahlsdorf, north of the cemetery chapel.

layout

The memorial commemorates those who fell in the Ahlsdorf community in the First and Second World Wars , the victims of tyranny and, in particular, those who fell during the fighting in Ahlsdorf during World War II. It consists of two dark granite slabs with a black free-standing cross between them. All three elements stand on a base. Black metal plates with inscriptions are attached to the east side of the panels.

The inscription on the left panel is under the depiction of an iron cross and reads:

On the right panel below a cross there is the following inscription:
