The Laucha war memorial is a listed war memorial in the municipality of Laucha an der Unstrut in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the memorial stone is recorded as a monument under registration number 094 83010 .

The war memorial in Laucha an der Unstrut is a memorial to those who died in the First World War . It is a stele on a base . The stele is enclosed by an octagonal wall and is crowned by an eagle with flared wings. In the middle of the stele on the front there is a relief of a steel helmet and underneath the inscription Our Best 1914-18 . On the war memorial is the inscription To the victims of wars and tyranny . The names of the fallen were carved on the outside of the wall. Some of the names are no longer legible due to weathering.
