The Meineweh war memorial of the First World War is a listed war memorial belonging to the community of Meineweh in Saxony-Anhalt . The memorial is listed in the local register of monuments under registration number 094 85345 as a monument .

The war memorial for the fallen in World War I was unveiled on October 28, 1923 and was designed by the sculptor Schlehan from Weißenfels . A stele which is crowned by an eagle rises on a multi-tiered base . The eagle seems to guard the calm of those who fell under the German eagle. A plaque made of Belgian granite is attached to the stele . This contains the inscription Den Heldentod died in World War 1914-1918 In Gratitude and Loyalty, Meineweh Community and the names of the 17 fallen in the war.
