The war memorial Meisdorf is a Grade II listed war memorial in the village of Meisdorf the community Falkenstein / Harz in the Harz in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located southwest of Meisdorf and west of Meisdorf Castle at the confluence of Petersberger Trift street with Allee street . The Selketalstieg leads along the monument .

Design and history

The monumental and rustic war memorial commemorates those who fell in the First and Second World Wars . It is designed as a roughly cone made of natural stones and crowned by an eagle spreading its wings.

On its front it bears the inscription:

1939
-1945

The war memorial is listed in the local register of monuments under registration number 094 81584 as a monument .
