The Oberkaka war memorial is a listed war memorial in the village of Oberkaka in the Unterkaka district of the community of Meineweh in Saxony-Anhalt . The memorial is listed in the local register of monuments under registration number 094 85416 as a monument .

The war memorial is a joint memorial for the fallen of the First World War in the municipalities of Oberkaka, Unterkaka and Zellschen . The stele was erected by the sculptor Bräuner from Schleinitz near Osterfeld . The unveiling of the monument took place on May 6, 1923. The stele is crowned by a paw cross . A memorial plaque was embedded in the front with the inscription Our heroes who fell in the World War 1914-1918 The grateful communities of Oberkaka, Unterkaka and Zellschenas well as the names of the fallen. After 1990, a memorial plaque for those who fell in World War II was added to the right-hand side . This memorial plaque bears the inscription In memory of the victims of the Second World War .
