KrimLit

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

KrimLit is a literature documentation for criminology operated by the Criminological Central Office in Wiesbaden . It contains more than 46,000 references, mainly from German-speaking countries. Since KrimLit itself does not contain full texts, it falls into the category of reference databases. KrimLit stands in the tradition of the Excerpta criminologica, the German-language part of which was taken care of in the 1960s by the Heidelberg psychiatrist and criminologist Heinz Leferenz .

development

In cooperation with Juris GmbH in Saarbrücken, the Central Office for Criminology has been building up an article documentation from central criminological and criminological relevant journals since 1986. In the 1990s, the essay documentation was broken down into annual volumes ("Referatedienst Kriminologie"), then published on CD-ROM. "KrimLit" has been freely accessible on the Internet since 2016. Since 2017, the Leibniz Center for Psychological Information and Documentation (ZPID) has been a permanent cooperation partner alongside Juris GmbH and enables the further expansion of the evidence of criminal psychological provenance.
